I took AP Gov my senior year and I can tell you 100% that out of probably 30 kids in my class it was only me and 2 other hispanic students in the class. Students in that class were so ignorant of their privilege that I even had a guy tell me once that it was unfair that I received a scholarship to the college I attend and he didn’t because he was white. This kid went on a whole rant about how white people had to do early decision when applying to colleges while all I had to put was my ethnicity. I can go on forever about how literally this first AP class really opened my eyes on how segregated NRHS really is.
